How to Beat the Zombies in the Abyss
- Carrying any basic sword before heading into the Abyss will help you greatly. You will get swords very early in the game, or you could find them randomly in the Abyss during exploration.
- Polearms like the spears or candle holders are readily available when you load into the Abyss, and these are great for keeping zombies at arm’s length.
- Armor does help keep you safe, but zombies can still bite any exposed skin if they get near you.
- The best tactic here is to get a polearm and swipe at the zombie’s legs to disbalance them.
- Then, you can either use the polearm itself to hit their head or switch to a sword or axe to hit them repeatedly until they die.
- Armored zombies are weak against blunt damage, so axes like the machete are great to use against them.
